Hello, I’m Pamela
I grew up around a family of creatives who pushed me to always do what makes me happy. From the time I was 6, I always knew I wanted to be an artist. I didn’t always know how but one thing always remained, whatever I was doing I was going to be happy doing it. I started doing wedding photography as a senior in high school and have stuck to it ever since.
Wedding photography holds a special place in my heart because every wedding and couple is drastically different, making every day on the job exciting.
I like to take this excitement into my editing and produce work that shows more than what only our eyes can see by emphasizing the emotion of the day and telling a story.
This style translates into other shoots as well where we can take it slow and be as creative as we want. Photography is an art and sometimes that gets lost. My goal is to let the artistic vision shine through in every photo and capture people’s truest emotions.
Outside of photography, I have also worked professionally as a graphic designer with 8 years of schooling, 3 years in companies, and 1 year freelancing. Through planning my own wedding and designing all the stationery, I found that this is my favorite kind of design to do. Designing stationery for weddings gives my art a greater purpose because it serves in creating the aesthetic for one of the most important days of people’s lives.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my fiancé, two cats, family, and friends. If I’m not working, spending time with the ones I love, or painting, you can usually find me planning my next fall trip or enjoying some time on the mountains.
